Email and SMS lists and automations
How people join your list, what consent Bakeable enforces, and where automations live.
Marketing → Email & SMS Lists is who you can contact. Marketing → Automations is what gets sent without you.
How people join
Customers sign up from the form on your storefront, and confirm by clicking a link in an email before they are added. That double confirmation is not optional and not a setting — it is what keeps your sending reputation intact and your list legal.
The confirmation email itself carries no unsubscribe link. It is the consent request — offering to unsubscribe someone from a list they have not joined yet makes no sense.
Unsubscribing
Every marketing message carries an unsubscribe footer, and customers can also manage their contact preferences from their account on your storefront. Order confirmations and other transactional messages are separate — someone who unsubscribes from marketing still gets the receipt for what they bought.
Which plan
Marketing automations are a Micro feature. Nano bakeries can still collect a list and announce bake days.
