Data Deletion

Last updated: May 2026

What data Bakeable stores from Facebook

When you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram account to Bakeable for social posting, we store the following:

  • Your Facebook user ID (used to process deletion requests)
  • Your Facebook Page ID and Page name
  • A long-lived Page access token (used to publish posts on your behalf)
  • Your linked Instagram account ID

We do not store your personal Facebook profile data, friend lists, or any information beyond what is required for social posting.

How to request deletion

You have two ways to delete your data:

  1. From Facebook: Visit your Facebook Settings, go to Security and Login β†’ Apps and Websites, find Bakeable, and click Remove. Facebook will automatically notify us and we will delete your data within 24 hours.
  2. By email: Send a request to privacy@getbakeable.com from the email address associated with your Bakeable account. We will process your request within 30 days.

What happens after deletion

Once your Facebook data is deleted, your Bakeable account remains intact but the Facebook and Instagram social posting connection will be removed. You can reconnect at any time. Previously published posts on Facebook or Instagram are not affected β€” those are managed through your Facebook account directly.
