Finding an order and what you can change

Where orders live, what an order detail shows you, and which parts of it can still move.

Orders appear in three places, depending on what you are doing:

  • On a bake day — the orders for that pickup, which is what you want on a bake morning.
  • Finances → Orders — everything, across every day, when you are looking for one in particular.
  • On a customer — everything that person has ever ordered.

What you can change

Every order in Bakeable is paid before it reaches you, which is what makes the rest of the system predictable — and also what limits what you can edit after the fact. Changing what is in an order means refunding and re-taking it, or agreeing something with the customer directly and honouring it at the table.

You can always contact the customer from the order. If your plan includes messaging, that conversation lands in your inbox rather than your personal phone.
